Shock The Pool Chemicals

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone tried this pool shock from Baracuda https://www.baracuda.com.au/products/pool-spa-chemicals/pool…? Saw it at Bunnings and was thinking to get it for my pool.

Cheers,
David

    It will be fine.

  • Just wondering if it works properly.
    Have you used this before?

    • I have not used it but I can guarantee if you follow the instructions it will work. How bad is your pool? Make sure you vaccum all debris out of the pool first.

      • it went green after all the rain last couple of weeks.
I did the pool test kit, vacuum all the debris and read some of the blogs that needs pool shock after.

Find it cheapest to get the refillable blue containers of chlorine from Bunnings. Had green swap pool over winter and super shocked with that and algaecide to bring it good within a few days

    What shock?

Active Constituent: 630g/kg Available CHLORINE (CI) present as TRICHLOROISOCYANURIC ACID
    ALSO
    CONTAINS 300g/kg SODIUM TETRABORATE PENTAHYDRATE

  • Is your pool in poor condition? Don’t get it ‘just because’ get the water tested properly and go from there.

    • Yeah, it's a bit green atm.
I did the pool test strip and went from there.
Also did the research that after all the vacuum, I will need to put some pool shock in
