      There aren't heaps of tints available for stock in Australia.

      You may get more variety from sofirnlight.com or the Sofirn Official store on AliExpress.

    Is the IF22A a good in-between of like a Wuben C3 and a Noctigon k1?

    Just SP36 Pro just arrived and am loving it, but forgot now I need to up my thrower game. I thought I was cool back in 2012 with an LEDLenser P7.. 😅

      Yeah, the IF22A is a nice practical thrower that you could put in a jacket pocket. The TIR reduces the spill. It's nice but it doesn't scratch my "I want to be a Lighthouse" itch.

      Noctigon K1 throws further (depending on the LED that you choose), has more spill, has Anduril, has an awesome build quality, and is larger.

      I ordered a Convoy L8 with a 26800 cell and it arrived today. I might go and pretend to be a lighthouse tonight. 🤣

        Woah, the L8 looks like a decent bigboy!

        Seems slightly smaller than a Nitecore P30i but 3x more lumens and 1.5x throw!

        Dammit, I want to be a lighthouse now too.. :'(

        Yeah but not sure. The 4th pic of SP40A-5000K-Kit shows both battery type on SP40A so I'm confused.

          It has an 18650 tube by default and there's an extra 18350 short tube included.

    So what is the difference between this and the SP40? What does the TIR lens do? Make it floodier but with a brighter spot?

    And does this have a moonlight mode?

      The HS10 has a much smaller battery (16340) compared to the SP40A with an 18650.

      That said, SP40A might be slightly cheaper via AliExpress. It'd be worth comparing AE vs sofirnlight.com vs Amazon Australia.

    Just received my if22a, but I THINK I'm having a battery issue. It won't turn on unless plugged in (limited modes). Has been "charging" for hours, still blinking red. Battery seems to be in good nick, can't find my voltmeter to test it though.. And of all my other torches, none run the 18650… :-/ I only got larger. Also, to note, light cuts out instantly when on usb power and plug is removed.

    Edit: OMG, I'm dumb, I didn't realise this was a 3 piece unit, the little bottom cap bit wasn't screwed the whole way… >.< Where can I buy the extra tube to fit other batteries? 😁

      Did it come with a white plastic 18650 to 21700 tube?

      It might fit longer protected 18650 cells but unprotected cells may be too short and rattle.
