Should I Wait for Sony X90j 65" Price to Go down?

I can get the Sony X90j 65" from Goodguys at the lowest price I can get them to $2086 but i'm wondering if I should wait for EOFY and see if it will go down. What do you guys think? What are the chances of that happening yall reckon?

  if you dont need it urgently then might be worth waiting. education store had it recently for 1500

    Hot diggity, damn i'm a student so could of got that too. That's a huge deal. Hopefully rolls back around.

  One thing we noticed with EOFY and Black Friday sales last year, lots of big ticket items weren't discounted much, mainly due to lack of stock. With inflation going up, I'm of the belief is now is the best time to buy. Bought a 75" x90j last week (got 5% off JB Hifi's ticket price with employer rewards), and have no regrets.

    Oh really, yeh if the EOFY deals aren't going to be that huge this year then might not even be worth waiting.

  When it reaches a price that you can afford - buy. The alternative is waiting months without that TV to save $200. It just doesn’t really add up in the end. The key here is after purchase, stop checking prices! That way you don’t have post purchase dissonance and regret what you paid.

    Fair point, if I had to wait for Black Friday there would be no way I would consider it.
