Microsoft 365, Is Upgraded Email Easy to Use?

I have a Live email account and its almost full. I just tried to delete a bunch of emails and it will no longer let me delete any. So I have no option but to pay for an upgrade. The good news is it looks like shopback has cashback.. My question is, will my email look the same?

Have you tried using the "sweep" function on your emails?

Click on any email that you want to delete. e.g a newsletter of some sort, then click the "sweep" button up the top. It'll offer you some options, just pick one and it should free up some storage on your account.

the free tier of outlook gives you 15GB of email storage, while the paid version gives you 50 gigabytes. it's not worth paying $99/year just so you can have extra mail storage — unless you also happen to want to use MS Office.

If you do happen to upgrade to O365, the user interface doesn't change. It'll still be the same old UI.

    • I just tried that and it worked on the first one I tried. Thanks

  • Yes, register Office 365 under that email address and it'll up your storage to 50GB.

I'm confused on why it won't let you delete any more though, best move is to sort by attachment>size and delete the biggest ones (download the file first if you want to keep it).

    • I tried to delete just one and couldnt even do that. I guess they count deleted emails as storage and they take 30 days to empty

It just moves it to the deleted folder. Go to Settings, General, Storage and empty the Deleted Items folder
