Lightning Deal for $29.99, and on top of that check the 25% off deal when adding to cart and it somehow adds up to $19.99 delivered. Go figure.
Also comes with a 60W USB C cable.

Genius
Hmm just double checked and it says RRP is $59.99 which makes it a bit odd.
The regular price (the price you pay if not using the lightning deal) is/was $39.99. RRP is just there for marketing purposes.
On 24V maybe.
Unless someone has some compact tech that can step up 12V -> 15V and 20V, then ignore all ratings above 12V.
So realistic maximum is probably 36w for the "65w" port?
Boost mode regulators are pretty common. Any particular reason you doubt this has one? I can't see any mention of 24V required
other chargers that use the same or similar components often have a little note in small writing that the 60+w numbers are only achievable on 24v systems. I'd be betting that this isn't some special exception at this price.
edit: the fact that the product page doesn't mention the voltage doesn't give me confidence that its not just a 24v adapter with a slower 12v mode
100% claimed
My understanding is that new cars with smart alternators will limit the current and voltage that goes into 12v socket.
at 115 watts that almost 10amps out of poor ciggie lighter
I bought this on sale the other day $28 and I would have grabbed a bucket load of them if I didn't miss out on this $19.99 sale.
It charges my Dell XPS 15 via a USB-C to laptop cable at a satisfactory speed even when I've got my phone and dashcam connected.
That's because the value of the 25% discount coupon is based on the regular price, not the lightning deal price.
