  Thing is, the el cheapo aliexpress IR thermometer has an accuracy of, maybe 1.5C. However, for these they seem to have calibrated it around the typical 'people' temp, so the accuracy is claimed to be 0.2C at typical temps.
  
  1.5C error is pretty wide, 0.2C is close enough for government work.

    but yeah, for home use "you really hot, you have fever" or "it's about normal" . is it that important for it to be super accurate?
