Buy 3 Get 4th Free for Turanza Serenity Plus Tyres @ Bridgestone

140

This popular tyre is again on deal. Was casually browsing and read the post for Potenza deal (thanks to user doweyy). Noticed Turanza Serenity Plus is also on offer and bought. Available at participating Bridgestone Select, Bridgestone Service Centre and Bridgestone Tyre Centre stores only.

Sharing as this seems to be the more popular / well rounded option for general commute.

Do note that 50,000km wear life guarantee applies only if you buy the AUD 65 alignment package.

Enjoy!!

  • Can someone recommend a 245/35/r20 tyre? (Below $300 a tyre)
I saw the re003 but the comments really did not sway me due to durability.

Rather ask here than pollute the forum section!

    • use case? What car? What type of driving?

      • Honestly just to and from work. Misses has a work car now so we use that for pretty much everything.

Toyota Aurion Sportivo zr6. Type of driving?: not sure about that one 😂

        • (sorry for late reply) RE003 I wouldn't bother with to be honest, I don't find them compelling especially with what else is available. I recommend Hankook K120 (V12 evo2) but I don't see it available your size, that is an amazing tyre I put on my turbo Liberty wagon ($125/each back then). Currently running Hankook K127 (S1 evo3) on my 170kW FWD hatch and they're a great touring tyre, excellent wet grip, quiet and good rolling resistance. In the past I ran Falken Azenis FK452, they were very good (think Bridgestone RE050, Yokohama Advan Sport/V105 level), so I'd expect the newer FK510 to be just as good if not better. I also recommend Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 (the newer Eagle F1 tyres should be good too).

Depends really on what you're willing to put up with. Higher mileage tyres = generally lower grip. I rather go with more grip as tyres are the only thing connecting your car to the road.

  • These ones or Michelin Primacy 4 or Primacy 4 ST - both Primacy types are more expensive for my 205/60/R16 tyres but I'll buy on a buy 3, get 4th free offer for any tyre.

Looking for good grip and quieter ride. Longevity is not as big an issue as I don't do that many kms. Have had my last set for 3.5 years and done about 30k on them and they're due to be replaced soon. I have the 4ST now but paid significantly less last time around so wondering if these are good/equal value.

    • Primacy 4ST are good if you want to pay the price. I read some reviews and Turanza are rated high for quieter ride and grip under dry conditions. Few reviews question wet road handling but general opinion is quite positive.
I am replacing Primacy on my car thinking I can't go wrong at this price for a decent tyre.

I have both these Turanzas and the Michelin Primacy on different cars. They are completely different and cannot be compared.
Turanza are hard wearing compound. After 50K they still have 6-7mm thread and look new. They are indestructible. The ride comfort however is non existent. They don't have great grip either compared to the much softer Michelin Primacy. The Turanza are great if you do high mileage because it works out cheaper. But if you do 5-10K a year, they are just not worth the compromise of the ride quality because everything rattles.
The Michelin Primacy is a dream come true if you like soft comfortable drive around town and on highway. They stick a bit better than Turanza and conversely they wear faster, probably twice as fast than the Turanza.

171 each for a sedan - tyre prices have def inflated

    • For what size?

  • Alignment costs vary based on the store as well. I've still got my Turanza's from the last deal. Going well so far.

  • Anyone can help this one or Goodyear ASSURANCE TRIPLEMAX 2!! Hard to choose for me
