Yep it will be playable. As per ubisoft's other recent PS4 games, you should be able to download the PS5 version for enhanced visuals, loading times etc. You will just need the PS4 disc in the console to run it.
For example Watch Dogs: Legion PS4 received a free PS5 upgrade.

My experience on XB1 is the game is buggy. You lose sound a lot.
I suggest you turn off Quick Resume as it's less buggy that way

I’ve played Far Cry 3 only so far. Feels like I’ve played them all already. None of the gameplay videos or reviews inspire me that it’s any different

$28 too expensive. I do enjoy a mind numbing game from time to time but this is horrible.

Agree, this will eventually hit $19 or $15 on an Amazon deal; then settle at about $24 regular price. At some point Target will have some physical copies for $10 and Harvey Norman might have a bunch of stock on similar run-out. Ubisoft will eventually release a Far Cry 7 or equivalent. Happens with 100% of Ubisoft series titles like FC or AC.

Is this one any good? Only farcry I played is 5 and I enjoyed it (thought even on hard mode, it was too easy).
I really liked Far Cry 5 and played through the campaign 3x…unfortunately FC6 I could not finish and found it boring and underwhelming
Lame Ubi rip off of FC3, doing exactly the same only on a much larger map.
Somehow I enjoyed FC5, hated FC4, played the whole FC3, but this one just felt the typical Ubisoft endless grinding when I tried it on the free weekend 2-3 weeks ago.
Too expensive for $28 if you played with FC3 or 5 before. Wait until it goes for less than $5
If you've never played with any of the FCs just wait until it goes below $10 and spend a few weeks of grinding through the same missions, side challenges, map discoveries over and over again only in the different map regions.

Very tempting to break my 'no discs' rule for that price. It's going to be a while before the digital version drops down sub $30.
I am a FarCry fan, but this game is the worst one I have ever played.
I just can't get into it. Everything annoys me, travelling takes ages, the characters and dialogue are awful, I find the weapon and gear system overly complicated, buddys seem really useless most of the time ( i am still kinda early on).
Maybe it will start getting fun but I have never struggled this hard to like a FarCry before.

So so tempting, but I haven't even installed the New Dawn on my Xbox yet nor have I had time to try the Far Cry 3 I got for free with some deal.
