Agreed, avoid.
The newer batches no longer use the 50m Omron switches, so ideally they shouldn't develop double-clicking issues. It's really just up to shape preference imo.
Agreed. My GPro has recently started double clicking on the side buttons. No real solution online. Annoying.
Warranty?
You can diy and replace those side "surface mount switches"
My own g903 had all switches, battery and case replacement now after 4 years of ownership.
I really hope I don't have to DIY or repair a RRP $280 mouse because of a known issue that's been persistent in their mouse for like 10 years at this point
True, Viper Mini is good too - except for scroll button issues.
I remember getting double click on my G903, can’t believe it’s still a problem across Logitech mice.
I’ve used this mouse for the last 2 years without issues.
If you're paying this much for the old GPW, why not pay an extra ~$35 for the Superlight?
One reason will be fragile buttons.
Yup I can this issue where the side button got loose within 10 months. Logitech warranty was helpful with Scorptec replacing it.
$132 on ebay with code SAVEAPRIL
$137 for a mouse. On ozbargain fark me I'm old but that's just taking the kids fora ride isn't it
Also worth mentioning that the g502 is $136 on amazon (50 precent off).
Tempted to pull the trigger but I'm put off by buying a microusb device in 2022.
Surely you would've figured that you just leave a USB C adaptor jammed into it.
On a $270 RRP mouse, I shouldn't need to.
As it is, it seems that the only mouse that has USB C and is rechargeable is the MX Master 3.
Just get a magnetic charging cable.
There's a newer wireless g502 in the works that got leaked awhile back (with type c).

I'm so happy to hear this, it seems like a no-brainer to have an updated g502 with type c that I almost couldn't believe that no work has been done yet.
Awesome, thanks. Looks like I'm waiting then.
Superlight currently 173 here -

G604 or bust
For this price id opt for razer viper, as this develops double click
