      • PITD = Price In The Dick

        • ohhhhh, no wonder I couldnt find it initially.

@Fergy1987: No worries. If you ever need to know the price of something on OzB, it's in the dick.

this is not a great deal, you can pick these up cheaper from ebay, eg from here :

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/175062522568?ssPageName=STRK%3AM…

    $94.95 after coupon delivered.

Also, I picked these up for ~$80 last week from ebay , again through one of the 20% off coupons.

I mean, if you didn't check multiple platforms and sellers before buying are you really an OzBargainer? Shows up as the 3rd result on eBay for me…

        • That's fair but my point was I was being called out on this not being a deal yet the better deal hadn't been shared either.

My first port of call is actually Ozb for bargains as it allows me to read comments from others that have bought the item already.

Even this comment featuring the cheaper deal is why I prefer Ozb (usually), as the collective hive mind shares the best deals. This one just happened to occur on a post I made and after I'd purchased. :(

Lesson learned tho, I've paid slightly more than I could have but hopefully the support from Catch is worth that extra few dollars in the future.

      Thank you @Omarko

    Shittest remote ever.

    • Yup, mine only lasted a month. Luckily I only use it for desktop pc and the controls are at hand. Wouldn't buy it for a lounge setting, unless you have a universal learning remote and program it in anticipation for this one to fail.

If you go up to something like the s2000 you'll get a better remote and totally worth it for the sound quality upgrade.

      • That's were I'm heading.

    • My 3000's I also have to be Hawkeye to make it work. IR receiver has no tolerance :'D

    For $50 these sound great

    • +1

How do you get it for $50?

      • +2

I think he means that IF they where $50, they would be worth it

  • I use these for my tv and they sound great, but agree with the other guys that the remote sucks balls. Would be good if there was a small sturdy simple universal remote that I could replace the stock remote with.

    • I’ve got a these in my garage gym and the D12 in my living room. Both remotes are useless, I’d love to know if anyone has an alternative.

    • How is the receiver? Do you have to point it dead on? My 3000's I have to super aim

      • I usually do just point the remote at it, mainly as I'm sitting directly in front of it. It just feels really flimsy and the buttons are like mush.
