How to Cancel amaysim and Port to New Provider?

I am an Amaysim customer.
Now that my 6 month $2 special has ended, I want to move to a different provider.

I have disabled auto renew, and my plan will automatically expire on 04 Apr 2022.
I have changed my payment method to BPAY, so they can charge me going forward.
Do I need to do anything else to "cancel" my account with Amaysim?
Or is the next/final step, that I simply initiate the port out to my new provider?

  • Not so sure about that. Ported from Boost less then 2 weeks ago, so I can transfer back with my discounted $200 Boost card. Tried to port back from Amaysim to Boost today. They have blocked it, and Boost are getting a rejection. Yes all my details are 100% correct with both providers. In less than 2 weeks I discovered that the Optar$e network is far worse than ever. Consistently next to useless in so many places here in Melbourne. Can't wait to see their backside. Will use Vodafone next time…
