I recommend in store for the $1 ones so you can choose. Minis would be pretty good for party favours at this price if you can find them.

  I bought these for $8-12 a pop when my little one was a bit younger. A steal at $1.

  Edit: Looking stock levels, it's likely only the lesser known engines are left.

    Yep definitely best to look in store for these. I find the stock level think to be pretty inaccurate, sometimes it says no stock but it’s actually there.

  Might checkout my local bigw to see if they got any. Gifting it to my nephews and nieces.

  Ninja edit: though the blacktown bigw show no stock. I will be in the area anyway tomorrow so might just pop in to see if they have stock.

    oh shucks i live near by too!

    i find it weird how it states "shop online - pickup liverpool" and red cross but says a green tick for "find in store"
    if its in the store then why can't you select pickup then??

      It's just how stupid a lot of these tack-on ecommerce solutions function. I find that the shortcomings retailers have is from possibly having an older back end system managing their store stock, then having to add an ecommerce solution on top that integrates with it.

      There have been many times where I call the store and "yeah we have heaps here", ahhh could you post it to me? Nope. Order it online. Online doesn't let me order it says your store is out of stock. "Oh well" Like at least introduce something so people can buy your products in these cases god damn it.

  Just a heads up that Thomas stuff is usually heavily discounted when they come out with a new track gauge or a new track design. A new track design is okay as the track gauge is the same, but if they change the track gauge you will be stuck.

  If you are new to thomas then buy as much as you can at this price as the kids will love it. If you all ready have thomas then stock with with the missing names or variations etc.

  As per AndyC1’s comment there’s a new range out which seems to align with the new TV series (not as good as the last series). The reduced stock is the older series and may not match the new tracks. The series on sale lines up with the Aldi wooden tracks if you’re just doing manual trains - not sure about the motorised ones.
