Autobarn and Repco used to do 25% off on dashcam etc., but I haven't seen that deal lately. When do you think the next sale is going to be? I was also waiting for 25% off batteries but that hadn't happened for over a year I believe.

There are a lot of supply issues with anything to do with automotive electronics. Even the car manufacturers are stripping electronics out of their vehicles.
That's true. I read somewhere that some Mercedes models now come with manual seat adjustment and no premium surround system, no wireless charging, etc etc.
Yep. I just brought a brand new BMW. It has wireless charging, electric seat adjustment, and heads up display all deleted from the otherwise identical 2022 model, these were all standard features in 2019. The price went up considerably as well.
I know that Ford has removed the start/stop ignition button in favour of turn key ignition systems in the Ford Ranger.
Same with the six or so monthly 30% off car audio - COVID and supply chain issues means there isn't a lot of stock/supply coming in so no incentive to offer sales.
Easter catalogue sales are usually one of the big ones for dashcams but I have a feeling this year we won't see much at all on anything.
Sad… I might wait for a couple more weeks.
