I think this is pretty good price for the combo + carefresh package. I think the cheapest for Combo was $828 recently?

yeah, simple calc tells me the sweet spot is drone $400 + combo ~$150-200 = around 600
Is the bundle really worth $150-200? I can see a couple spare batteries will cost you $150 anyway, but are they necessary?

Basically it covers you for accidental damage and flyaways.
You pay $79 for the Care Refresh.
Your first accidental damage claim is $79, the second is $89. You send in the damaged drone and they send you a refurbished unit.
You can make a flyaway claim for $379. Obviously you can't send in a missing drone so they just send a refurbished unit to you.
I bought it for my Mini 2 and have again for my Mavic Air 2
So make it fly away & get a 2nd one for the other kid to use?
How do you prove the flyaway?
It's only dropped $90 in the last 3 months. Not worth an impulse buy

Might be just me but I stepped up to the Air 2 almost solely for the Hyperlapse feature. It is so awesome. Mini 2 would be very disappointing without it. 4K 60 FPS is good too on the Air 2.
