Looks like short live thus the sale.
ends 05/04/22
Lol expiry of the toothpaste, not its price
Anti-vaxxers may not like this…
Contains: Sodium Hexametaphosphate
may cause acute side effects from excessive blood serum concentrations of sodium, such as: “irregular pulse, bradycardia, and hypocalcemia."
…or people with AF?
Also contains water, which is known to cause drowning
I've consumed lots of water and haven't yet drowned.
Not sure I want to consume lots of Sodium Hexametaphosphate though…
Not sure I want to consume lots of Sodium Hexametaphosphate though…
I thought your stance was that anti-vaxxers may not like it? Now you're saying you wouldn't consume it? Which is it?
In any case:
1. Nobody is consuming it because it doesn't even exist in this product in the first place - you are mistaking it with the more expensive Oral B pro tootpaste
2. It is classified as a food additive, therefore considered safe for consumption; you would have to be ingesting a lot of toothpaste before your experience those side effectsit doesn't even exist in this product in the first place
It is listed in the ingredients.
@jv: That is obviously a different one you linked - I have physically checked the tube I purchased from Reject Shop previously to confirm - there is no Sodium Hexametaphosphate listed.
@jv: ok
@jv: Nope, that's the "Advanced" variety you've listed the ingredients to. The one in the deal is the non-Advanced variety which has these ingredients:
https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/107631/oral-b-toothp…
Water, Sorbitol, Hydrated Silica, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Carrageenan, Flavor, Sodium Gluconate, Xanthan Gum, Zinc Citrate, Sodium Hydroxide, Stannous Fluoride, Sodium Saccharin, Stannous Chloride, Sodium Fluoride, CI 77891
@pyr0maniac is correct
Nope
Yep, there is more than one in the link as the OP did not directly link to anyone in particular…
@jv: The OP listed "Oral-B Pro-Health 190g Toothpaste $1", there is only one product on the Reject Shop website that matches that description, which I have now listed the actual ingredients for, and which @pyr0maniac was correct about.
Show me where on the Reject Shop website is the Pro-Health Advanced product for $1?
The OP listed "Oral-B Pro-Health 190g Toothpaste $1"
I just read what was in the link they posted…. I go straight to the facts…
@jv: There is only one product in the link they have posted for $1… and that product doesn't contain Sodium Hexametaphosphate as you claimed (and oddly sticking to even though you've been corrected by multiple people). The those are the FACTS!
Maybe you need to go to Spec Savers?
It's not hard to admit you're wrong and have made a mistake and move on.
There is only one product in the link
You must be using an old browser then, I can see many.
@jv: Many products on that page for $1?
You're dreaming and way off-topic. Again, show me a link to another matching product for $1 and I'll stop calling you out.
Still don't know why you're pushing back so strongly.
Many products on that page for $1?
I don't really care… I just clicked on the toothpaste in the link that the OP posted.
@jv: Which toothpaste did you click on?
@pixxelpusher: The one that uses Sodium Hexametaphosphate
@jv: And how much does that one cost?
@pixxelpusher: Dunno, I buy Colgate.
@jv: Ok let me help you, is this the one:
https://www.rejectshop.com.au/p/oral-b-pro-health-advanced-w…
@pixxelpusher: Lol it's jv, he's only here to troll. Do yourself a favour and stop providing him with free entertainment. He's already made enough of a fool of himself by copying and pasting what appears to me misinformation straight from Wikipedia, i.e. :
may cause acute side effects from excessive blood serum concentrations of sodium, such as: “irregular pulse, bradycardia, and hypocalcemia."
The hypocalcemia is a result of phosphate's ability to bind calcium, not elevated blood serums concentrations of sodium.
@pyr0maniac: Nah, he just needs some re-education Will Smith style
He's already made enough of a fool of himself
I will never reach your high levels of foolishness or off-topic commenting though…
please note fluoride toothpaste
Package says all "areas of the mouth"
Hi Op, what's the best Brand toothpaste in your experience?
Why do you want to know?
They are the 10th dentist that doesn't recommend Oral B
