That’s tiny, better off paying similar amount for a 6L Instant Pot knock off (eg Heller).

You’d have to really care about the app control or different pressure levels for this to be desirable.

EDIT: Congrats on 2000 posts, my critical comment is not reflective of your efforts :~)

This is your 2000th posts on OzB. Thanks for your efforts :)

    • Thanks. I should have chosen a better product! Though the 2000 is combining my deal/forum/competition posts, as my deal count is at 1931. That'll probably take another month or 2 to reach.

  • Congrats on 2K Mark

  • It's a pressure cooker, not a pressure rice cooker. Has anyone used it for rice cooking?

Looks like you need to get the 5L to get the second inner pot for rice and porridge.

  • 2.5l is perfectly fine for a family of 3 or 4. Not everyone wants or needs a 6l knock-off.

    • But, if the 6 litres is the total capacity, and you can only fill them partially, especially with things like beans, rice, grains and whatnot.

Forget being able to put a larger chunk of meat in there and put it on a trivet.

2.5 litres is going to be a 1 person thing - my Ikea stovetop one is 3.5 litres and barely has enough room for food for 2 people, depending on what you're cooking.

EDIT: The product also has a 5 litre capacity version, which would be much better. that one also comes with two different pots.

I imagine the 2.5l version would be good for small loads of rice, because the fancy rice machines that everyone goes on about use pressure instead of just a "dumb switch for evaporation method" like your $10 Kmart specials are
