    I miss 100% SG back :(

  • Does SG actually let you withdraw? I've read numerous comments that they don't. I've also been keeping a loose eye on the SG price and I couldn't help but think there was some manipulation in Feb to keep the price around $1. When there seems to be a lot of green on the charts, SG has tanked over the last two weeks.

    • They stopped the withdrawls but it has opened since.

but the value has dropped like an anchor

        • damn, just checked mine….

    • U can withdraw now after u do the KYC, but only from the shopping cashback (can't withdraw any bonus like from referral) and they capped it at $500 value (at current price, that's actually not bad). U can only withdraw to a wallet (like metamask) too, instead of directly to exchange like it used to be, which is rather costly (don't bother if u only have like $20-$30 worth)

  • I've been keeping an eye on this and it's showing signs of being a scam: lots of users were denied AliExpress cashbacks from January onwards, and then once that picked up pace they moved over to a lottery system for high value cashbacks. I believe they are stretching the limits of the affiliate programs they are using and skimming money.

Regardless, the referral bonuses and most cashbacks are now way more in line with regular cashback services, all while the value of the coin drops through the floor. These discount codes also offer no additional value.

Combine that with the environmental cost and volatility of crypto, and this looks way too much like a Ponzi scheme running out of gas. Get out while you can.

    • A lot of my AliExpress were approved 2 days ago.

A few that were rejected were valid.

Um environmental cost? This is not proof of work.

      • How many people are getting more than a 3.5% cashback? What's the advantage of an identical discount code after the seller discounts probably expire?

There is an increased environmental cost of maintaining the blockchain, but I'm not across how that's implemented, nor am I across if it's proof of work or proof of stake. It will however grow investment in a market of coins that does have proof of work involved, so it has a cost to the environment.

I know you got in early and got traction from it, but the value add for new entrants and purchases has died. One of the worst parts about crypto is that the devs and team don't even have to be dodgy for the market for the coin to get scammed.

Socialgood neglected to mention and potentially didn't even realise that not every product is an affiliated item and thus no cashback can be earned on some products. Cashrewards for example have a link checker to see if something is elligible.

All my affiliated products have tracked successfully. The non-affiliated products were denied.

      • The ones I have been able to verify have been affiliated. What may be happening is that the seller is refusing to pay out crypto-based commissions, but I would have thought that component would be handled by AliE.

Has nothing to do with the seller. AliExpress would be paying Socialgood a percentage of the sale in USD and they'd be then converting it to SG and giving that to you. If you've received the products did you confirm the item was delivered once received? If you don't confirm the order in AliExpress the cashback can't be approved.

          • @Clear: This isn't something I've used personally, just something I've helped others with, and monitored the telegram for. In the cases I've seen, the item never tracked, with none of the criteria breached.

@jasswolf: I know the ins and outs of AliExpress better than most. I'd guarantee people haven't done it properly.

              • @Clear: I've personally supervised several of these. They have.

Respect your knowledge, but something happened with how they were handling this as the crypto market started to dip, and their strategy changed. While that was happening, people started missing out on cashbacks more regularly from AliE.

  • SOCIALG6M - "We're sorry, all promo code have already been claimed."
