Could anyone share their experience with this chair? How is it for 8h+ on a daily basis?

  • Does the mesh base sag overtime? Especially if you have a large derriere?

Is there another around this pricepoint that has a foam base instead of mesh?

It should sag less if you've got a large backside as it spreads the load over a bigger area. It's the gravitational assistance usually associated with the big bum that's the issue.

    any recommendation is appreciated.

  • I'm curious how this compares to the ergohuman?

    • Me too, how does this compare to the $399, they look pretty much identical.

    • The mesh parts and arm rests look very similar to an EH; it looks like the main differences is the EH has the seat controls all on one lever, the arm rests can move forward, backwards + twist, and the back and head rest are adjustable (which I find handy but not really worth an extra $200).
The head rest is useless anyway when sitting upright as it needs to come forward another 50-70mm to reach your neck, it only really supports when leaning the chair right back.

Regarding a mesh seat, it is definitely more comfortable than a padded one if you are sitting for hours, but there are still "pressure points" where the tightness in the mesh digs into certain parts of your bum and legs, the seat is not as comfy as I was hoping; the back support is excellent though.

Bought last June at app.$210. Been doing possibly more than 8hrs a day on avg. and I'd say it's okay. I don't own a HM or Steelcase so that can't really compare against those. Built quality is fine. I actually prefer mesh over form. Lower back support is there.

  • I know different price points but what are people's thoughts on this vs that ergotune classic/supreme?

  • I'd worry this would fall apart after like 1-2 years, they don't list a proper warranty, the legit chairs have like 5-12 year warranties.

  • Does the seat tilt (is can you change angle of seat not just move it forward)?

    Maybe an alternative for some.

I currently have this chair for about a year now from last years sale and I find it uncomfortable. My height is 171cm and it suits someone who is 165cm as the head rest is too low, the lumbar supports isn't great as it isn't strong enough and keeps sagging down after every use. My advice, spend more money for an adjustable lumbar support.

I also have this chair as well for easily over a year as my daily. I’m 173cm and about 75-80kgs. I love the back support and the fact that the it has a low headrest. So when I tilt back into the chair it feels great and snug in a way.

What I dislike is that the area of where I sit, it’s large. The mesh for that area is still perfectly fine. I don’t like how the armrest can’t be pulled forward or back as it’s fixated, only up and down. Sometimes it does get loose so I would have to rescrew it in.

Ultimately the negatives of my chair outweighs the positive so therefore it’s a neg for me.

My son has this chair in black - all mesh. He's a lightweight and about 5'11"

He likes it and says it's comfortable. It seems well made in my opinion, and after around a year in use it shows no signs of wear or tear. I prefer a more basic style of chair and I hate arm rests. If I was using this chair I'd leave them off or remove them.

From memory, he ordered the chair on a Sunday night and it arrived in south east melbourne suburb early on tuesday morning (MyDeal).
