$50 subscription for 10x $50 worth uber rides a year. Has anyone tried using this just to get around (e.g. to get to the airport) without actually having a bike related issue?

OP, likely: So? They don't pay tax!
You waited since 2019 to post this?
Can't rush these things….
wait times can typically be 30+ minutes
You must stay at the position we dispatch a vehicle to, with your bicycle, until the vehicle arrives
We won’t be liable for any delay or failure in providing the service, if the
Pathetic OP, you disgust me, you are not scamming Uber you are scamming a charity.
Bicycle Network Rider Rescue is a subscription service designed to help
subscribers who are unable to ride their bicycle and need help getting to a
destination of their choosing. We will provide transport for You and Your bike to get
You home, to alternative transport or to someone who can help fix Your bike.
Reasons to call for Rider Rescue may include mechanical failure, exhaustion, or
minor injury. Of course, in the event of a serious injury, it’s always best to call 000.Fair Use – means that You will call for the service in situation of a genuine nature –
these circumstances include but are not strictly limited to – mechanical failure,
exhaustion, or minor injury
We had our Brodens now we have Mungamungs -
and so on…
How stingy can you get that you look at ripping off a charity.
Also after the first few callouts they'll start scrutinising your activity and hopefully ban your cheap ass

Well considering they book the ride for you with Uber not you directly, its going to be pretty hard to claim you had been 'riding' to the airport or you rode to the airport and got a flat, so need a lift 'home', but it is ok, my bike fits into this suitcase!
By the time you buy a bike and break it, it’ll end up costing more.
Bicycle Network is a charity.
