  Any thoughts on these saxes? I last played sax in school like 15 years ago but was looking to pick it back up as a hobby, nothing serious, so a cheapy sounds like a good idea.

  Is the AS-III worth spending extra over the AS-II?

  Possibly a niche one to get much advice on from OzBargain but we'll see.

    Best answer (sorry!) - try them in person. Years ago needed to buy a tenor sax, teacher was dubious about a used Jupiter, it blew beautifully and had great key action.

      It's a fair call! Honestly having not played since Year 6 I barely know if I'd be able to get a note out even if I tried it in person - let alone if it was any good!

      I played a tenor back then so that'd be my preference, but christ they're expensive.
