Baseus 2400mAh Lithium Battery Powered Tyre Inflator/Compressor $45.51 ($44.44 eBay Plus) (Was $62.99) + Shipping @ Baseus eBay

This is a nifty battery powered inflator from Baseus. I have another Baseus version of this and I use it quite a bit. Mainly for my escooter, bikes and sports balls. It might sound lazy (I've still got hand pumps I'm happy to use too) but being able to set the PSI and just let it do its thing while I'm doing something else to prep the bike is useful and a timesaver. Especially if I need to prep everyone's bikes for a family bikeride. I'm always the sucker that gets to do that.

I've tried mine with the car and, although it works, it does take a while. Fine in a pinch if you're out and about but you wouldn't want to be in a hurry. I'm talking perhaps 5 minutes to add 5 psi on a car tyre.

Would recommend one of the ones off aliexpress with an 8000mah battery
Get far more use out of it for the same price

    • Which one do you have experience with? I've been looking at the eunic(?) versions. I also hate having to screw/unscrew the connector - much prefer the quick connect mechanism.

      • I have this one and it does keeps my 4 SUV tyres pumped up nicely

        • Weird the link doesn't load. Maybe it's connected to your account? Are you able to copy and paste the name/brand/price? Thanks

  • Hey OP, what's the minimum pressure it supports? I have a kayak that needs 0.1Bar/1.5PSI. Can this inflator pumps it?

    • Wondering the same thing. Looking for MTB tyres and shocks

      • MTB tyres are fine. I pump up my daughter's MTB all the time. No idea about shocks and what pressure they require.

    • This is a high pressure, low volume pump. You'd want a high volume, low pressure pump to build up most of the volume and finish off with something like this.

    • I use my Ozito PXC one for that. Does beds, toys, kayak, etc. Otherwise you can get a cheaper one used for air beds.

    • Hi. According to the specs, it works down to 5 psi. All that means is that it can't detect below that. You can pump anything up to that by manually checking how much air is in it with your hand.

  • The small Ryobi skin is very good if you have a battery.

I can't comment on the internals but the attachments are really bad. I bought the Xiaomi 1s usb c pump to replace it and it's much better.
    - Unscrew the attachment from the tyre and you will lose about 1 psi before it fully comes off. Given how slow these tiny pumps are this is annoying. This doesn't happen with the Xiaomi which surprised me.
    - There's an O ring on the plug that goes into the pump. Screw it on too much and it warps and loses seal. Don't screw it in enough and the attachment unscrews itself when you screw it into the tyre. So when I use it I have to hold both ends so they dont unscrew themselves from the unit and tyre.
    - The entire LCD screen vibrates when it turns on. Make of that what you will.
    - Minor gripe: One button turns on the unit and a different buttons turns it off. Neither are marked.
    - Tried contacting Baseus for warranty replacement on the attachments but there's no contact information on their ebay store. Don't think they will help anyway because the attachments are just cheap rubbish.

Yep I use the xiaomi 1s for my electric bike.
Can also vouch for its quality

Totally agree with Xiaomi Gen2 (USB Type C) Unit capability. But this Baseus also shouldn't disappoint based on my experience with other Several Baseus products.

Also this has LED flash light and Aluminium body for better heat dissipation compared to Xiaomi if that matters.

Also not sure what OP is talking about. 5 min for 5 psi may be at extreme levels. but normal car tyre top ups until 32 psi it takes half the time or even less in my case using a Xiaomi Gen2. Definitely not a quick experience like a gas station compressor, but if you are doing it in your garage or to top up somewhere down the road in case of puncture who cares if it is 5 mins or 7 mins. After getting it I totally stopped topping up from Gas station. Also fixed a puncture myself.

most threads on the Baseus pump show it only lasting for about 6 months. Seems to have nice features, but much lower quality
