Not the best oat milk. But for the price, it’s grate to have a few in the pantry as backup.
This is actually one of my fav comparatively. Which others you recommend?
I personally love the Oatly Barista, it’s nice and creamy. I also like Minor Figures. But those two are quite expensive. As for cheaper brands, I prefer the So Good Barista. But for $1.30 this one is great to have as backup. Just not my fave taste wise.
Minor figures is so average, and terrible given the price they are asking. Haven't tried Oatly Barista to be fair, but I found Oatly to be quite watery.
@LeonC: I personally preferred the taste of minor figures to Vitasoy, but only buy when on special, never full price. Haven’t had normal Oatly, but the barista is definitely not watery. It has a great flavour and very creamy.
@LeonC: So Good is great for a cheaper oat milk. Califia is also my favourite in coffees. Not the biggest fan of Oatly and Minor Figures.
Australia's Own Oat milk is my fav.
Also saw a new one today - Vitasoy Oat Milky. Going to try it out.
@Must Buy More: Let us know how it taste for you. They tasted the very similar if not the same to this one from my experience. Just added vitamin D oil on their ingredient list.
@ratz33: Lol. I got excited for nothing. It tasted pretty much the same, just more milky. I like Australia's Own Oat milk as tastes more sweet.
I'm with @LeonC, Minor figures and Oatly tastes watery and very average. They were the best in the early days of Oat milk, but other brands have caught up big time. Alternative Dairy's Oat is my "premium" fav brand. So Good Barista is good for cold, didn't perform well when steamed. I use the Vitasoy Oat for cold only, as they too split when steamed.
@ratz33: There’s a night and day difference between the barista version and the normal Oatly; we never get the normal one even on special, and only go for the barista one, which rarely goes on sale. It’s very creamy and has a slight sweetness to it.
Minor figures also has a barista one, but not as good imo.
@ratz33: Haven’t tried Oatly normal, only barista and I loved it, super creamy. I forgot about alternative dairy as I haven’t seen it available for ages but I was drinking that ps last year and really liked it.
Having been a big buyer of Oatly and Minor Figures, I reckon Vitasoy oat is better than Minor Figures. Oatly barista is still my fav but in terms of value Vitasoy Oat is awesome.
Macadamia milk for the win.
I also like macadamia milk, but it’s not very widely available.
Shame about the 6 limit.
