Just wondering if anyone has tasted the coffee at Ferguson’s Plarre or Daniels donuts?
It’s a different type of coffee that doesn’t need any sugar, just wondering what type of beans would they be using.

please update thread if / when you do find out which beans they use
I have Killer Coffee beans that someone put me onto when I asked almost the same question. They aren't bitter and still have a nice taste.
Two sweet coffees I know of are Redbrick "Rogue Coffee" and Ona "Raspberry Candy". I don't like either one of them as they taste like they have sugar and I don't take sugar in coffee. But maybe you will like them.
Maybe it depends on what coffee machine they use.
Bitter coffee is more then just the beans. I use No Where Beans (https://www.nowherecoffeeco.com/) in small batches but if I over extract them they can taste bitter. That said it can be the beans, a lot of traditional Italian blends used in Cafe's are quite bitter.
Try Outer Circle Cafe (https://outercirclesocialclub.com.au/) in Fairfield who use and sell No Where Coffee beans. If you like the coffee the buy some beans. If not keep looking.
Small batch roaster to try would be:
Industry Beans
Zest Beans
and many others
Also chat with a barrista (e.g. Justin at Outer Circle) when they are not busy and they can let you try different blends and extractions to see what you like.
Lot's of things that can make coffee bitter, it will usually be the roast or part of the extraction method. FYI I've noticed Sydney and Melbourne seem to always produce a more bitter coffee than Brisbane.
Yes, extraction and according to various sites on the net, the temperature of the water.

no espresso based drinks need sugar!
This thread didn't need your comment. Since when have you become the gatekeeper for coffee drinkers' taste buds?
I enjoy a double espresso. But I couldn't care less if one of my guests wants a weak skinny decaf latte with two sugars and a squirt of hazelnut syrup.
OzCensor.
Calm your farm.
I was just replying to OPs assumption that coffee other beans require sugar.
No coffee requires sugar.
I never said that people couldn't add sugar if that's the way they enjoy.
Look at cold brewing your coffee if you don't like the bitter (the bitter comes from the heating process, without it, coffee is much smoother)!
international roast
that's not bitter o.O
Just ask them. They have no reason to hide their supplier from you. Surprised their locations aren't covered in branding for their supplier. Some places even use coffee cups branded with their bean supplier.
