Planning to upgrade to 3080ti now, what is the reasonable price for 3080ti, no need for super cheap, just reasonable price with no "COV19 fee" is good enough. Or what is the MSRP for it? I do have option to buy one from US <Aug>, from Nvidia, cost USD $1,199. Is it worldwide warranty? Cheers
Reasonable Price for RTX 3080ti ?
Comments
Thank you! Nvidia is not world wide warranty so I will give up the August idea, thank you! Then I will place an order once is around $1,900, Ti badge is always a dream, haaaaa , but thanks again for your advice
Ti badge is always a dream
That makes no sense and hope that's not your primary purchase decision maker. You're paying +$500 for about +10% performance increase, if even that. Makes no sense.
It's outdated soon as you buy it because of the 3090 and even more so with 4000 series coming. If you want a 'status symbol' GPU then get an RTX Titan. At least that's semi-special.
You've taken that very literally.
I assume he means he would love to purchase a top tier card.
the 4000 series… and even more so with 5000 series coming after that.
The MSRP was marked up due to all the shortages, the original 3080 msrp was around $1250, so if you use that as a guide, it should be about the $1500 mark.
Between $1900-$2100, wait around for an OzBargain post/deal
Thank you, damn I missed $1,759 one, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/689186
*RRP, not a 'reasonable price'
Oh ok, damn, so noob!!!
Reasonable would be around AU$1400-1600 so that is a decent price.
I believe that RRP out here is around the $1950+ mark. Paying over $2k is just feeding into the current situation of crazy prices.Thank you! looks like I need to keep my eyes on it once the price around $1,900, thanks again
What's games are you playing that you really need a TI ?? Or are you gaming at 4k ??
Thanks for your reply, you are right , I should stop dreaming about Ti badge just because it sounds and looks cooler
Buy a 12GB 3080, it's less than 5% slower than the TI (some games it's the same because despite less shaders it has a higher boost speed) and available for $1500 right now.
Otherwise hand in your Ozbargain membership card, because you're throwing away money for no reason.
"Otherwise hand in your Ozbargain membership card, because you're throwing away money for no reason." —— You got me on this….. All right, I will get 3080 12GB, this one looks alright?
I am only using it on 1080p 144hz, Ti only make diff on 4K after i saw your post
Haha my 1080 can do 1080p at 144hz max settings what a waste of money trying to buy a 3080 for a 1080 screen, that's like buying a Ferrari to drive in peak hour traffic
Heyyyyyy no!!! My card was 2080ti but playing 2077 never reach 144!!! (With max setting)
@[Deactivated]: That's likely a problem with the CPU more than the GPU, but the 2000 series isn't as good at ray tracing as the 3000 series either.
What CPU are you running? Unless it's a 5950x or a 12900k you're never going to get near 144hz.
3080ti shouldn’t be priced above 3080 12gb by much.
Last week 3080 12gb was sold at around $1369
So I think 3080ti should sit at around $1400-1500
Thank you!
offer Legend K, the scalper below $1,400
@jackyli2909 One spare brand new unopened, PM me if you are interested.
Looks like price is not going down at the moment, no good deal since 17/03 (And this is with afterpay)
Still no deal under $2000 for 3080ti………………………
MSRP is $1,920.
I believe the performance increase from 3080 vs cost difference makes it a poor choice. RTX 3080 should be more ideal.
If you're waiting till August then 4000 series would be around the corner and they may drop further.
