These are not genuine UGG boots.
The word UGG is not a brand in Australia. UGG is a generic word used to define the style/type of boots. This was determined in a class action suit years ago with Deckers Corp.
In all other parts of the world UGG is copyrighted owned by Deckers.
If so, why do you omit the word "DUNLOP VOLLEY UGLY" on your ozBargain listing? Purely a misleading if you solely mention "UGG boots".
The reason its not in the title is because there are 6 other styles that are coming through in this deal.
Once you click on the link the eBay item title mentions DUNLOP VOLLEY UGLY UGG… so its not misleading at all.
There's no such thing as genuine ugg boots and more than there's genuine high heels or work boots.
But UGG Australia is a registered trademark in Australia.
UGG Australia is a brand, hence their copyright/trademark same as Nike! The word "UGG" is a generic term in Australia. Do your research.

the brand 'UGG Australia' doesnt even have anything to do with Australia, its manufactured in a tiny city in china, owned by an american company, and managed by non-Australians who are not based in Australia.
the only thing that links them to australia, is the word 'Australia' that they put in their name which is not registered in Australia. Its not even possible to register a country's name as part of their complete brand name.
Go on google and search for Ugg australia, you'll see that they could only have the (r) registered sign on the word 'UGG' for countries that DID allow them to register that name.
I should know, I did a whole research case study on this issue ;)
So bottom line is in Australia UGG is a generic word to describe these type of items. I'm sure everyone can agree on that!
