Found this on Amazon while searching for a deal on Monopoly Classic. It was $12 earlier this month. Enjoy!
Same price at Target Australia- https://www.target.com.au/p/monopoly-cash-decoder-board-game…

Legend - hitting my Ozbargain KPI this month
This edition does seem that interesting but for $7 i'll add it to my monopoly game pile.
*not
opps yes that's what i meant, thanks :)
*oops
@321: looool
@BruceJack: *LOL - Laughing Out Loud >:)
For $7 I’ll get it just for the tokens.
Thx Op grabbed one for the kids
Arriving tomorrow by 8pm amazon tells me.
We got it the other week for $12. It’s a quick game compared to original Monopoly. Kids had fun, but the special viewing glass thing for checking fake bills is a bit tricky to get right. Worth while for $7!
Got it, thx OP!
Cheaper than a take away coffee!

Good find! I got that technically for $2 new from Target the other day. I had $40 in my basket and just added this ($12) to use the sign up voucher ($10 for over $50 spend). That’s how I just paid 2 bucks. Easy to use a new email. I usually do this every time I need to order stuff around the $50 mark.
How many copies of the game do you have now?
Only 1 of this Monopoly game.
Thx Op grabbed one for myself…I mean the kids.
Got one, cheers OP
It teaches them risk management and critical thinking, which they need for basically every decision in their life.
Oh really? I've never played it, but here's part of the description "Spend the cash fast before getting caught with fakes". Or how about " Chance cards might be fake too; Did a player use a Chance card to skip out on a payment?"
Risk management and critical thinking? I think not.
You've literally just described risk management.
Players need to make choices without knowing all of the information and without knowing the exact outcome, i.e. they must take risks to win.
They also need to think about their opponents' choices and strategies, also known as critical thinking.
This game is a safe way to take risks without any real economic damage. It's infinitely better than traditional Monopoly, which teaches kids that you need to roll doubles and buy all the properties first to win.
@Wardaddy: Thank you. If you think that a children's board game will turn them into criminals, I feel we don't have anything else to discuss. I wish you all the best.
@Wardaddy: Mate this game is going to prepare them for dealing with gumtree scammers as they get older.
If only schools taught these life skills
@buckster: I think you mean prepare them to BE gumtree spammers.
@Wardaddy: Nope
Lmao 10/10 thread, would read again
Thanks! Been stuck in iso for over a week due to sick kids. Will probably go back to work and it'll be my turn. This will come in handy.
Perfect gift for the birthday party season. Grabbed a few. Cheers OP.
People still play monopoly with the vast amount of boardgames games our there?
It seems so. For children < 10 years old, what are some good alternatives?
There are a lot for children such as Kingdomino (or Dragdominio), Hey that's my fish, Go away Monster (good for 2 year Olds).
There are many more but that's about all I can think of from the top of my head.
For 6-8+ most of the entry level boardgames such as ticket for ride are good.
Thank you! I'll check them out
Carcassonne, Patchwork, Takenoko
Thanks OP. Looks like they’re gone at Amazon but managed to get one at Target.
This and the cheaters edition are a more accurate representation of the top of end of town lol
All gone :(
Amazon next day delivery is BS.
Next day can be up to 3 days!!!!!
Has anyone received theirs yet?
I got mine the next day but was wondering if these are meant to come sealed or just tapped either side?
Taped for me.
Thanks
yeah. don't search google for "tapped each side".
Thx
