Save $1 on 3D Movies at Event and Hoyts

This is my first deal so go easy on me.

Hey guys I found a good way of saving $1 every time you go to see a 3D movie. All you have to do is steal a pair of the glasses from the first movie you see and then you can bring them to your next movie and not pay the $1 rental charge.

The cinemas make a lot of profit off washing and rebagging all these glasses and you should not support big business like this. The $1 you save can be given to charity.

  You dont have to steal them. you buy them for $1 and you have the choice of keeping them or recycling them.

    Exactly! I have been asked if I 'stole' the 3D glasses from the cinema instead of recycling them. Recycling is an option!

  lol i just love the bins our the back of the cinemas that say dispose of glasses here….. yeh ok so then next time im going to pay another $1 for a pair… keep dreaming

  I think when he meant was, you could always take the glasses out of the "recycling box" and not have to buy one in the first place.

  (I did just that, never paid for a pair of 3D glasses. Took a few pairs out of the box, then washed them at home.)

  I doubt they are washed anyway. They are probably just plastic recycled by the cinemas. (Or thrown away.)
