I was hoping to walk in to a store and see the scale of a 38 inch or 49 inch monitor. I know Officeworks has monitors on display, but not sure if they stock a 49 inch on display.
I could travel out west a bit if need be, but thought it'd be best to view one in person before I make any decision or purchase. Last I went into Mwave, they don't really have much on display in the foyer.

Same with Officeworks and jbhifi they don't have many on display. Online YouTube reviews and maybe check brands lower end models to see build quality. Other than that no solution op
I've been trawling through reviews+videos but it's really hard to get a sense of how I would personally feel sitting in front of it. You can see how far they put it back, how they turn their heads, use reference objects for scale, but nothing beats having it in front of you! Never seen a good monitor at JB.

if u cant find any, check the measurement of the monitor, grab some paper and sticky tape it up and then u can get a feeling of it
The Harvey Norman flagship store in Auburn had a "gaming centre" section with rows upon rows of monitors, laptops, keyboards, headphones etc to check out. May be worth a visit or call to confirm.
