Never buy full price.. there is only like maybe a handful of games i can think of worth full price
Just be aware there are very little Australian servers post BF2042 launch.

@[Deactivated]: Then make some more.. not that hard now is it.
Be the change you want to see in the (digital gaming) world.
Or as that guy in that Robert Schneider said.. you can doo eit!
Note that historical low was $5.99, last October
I commend you for mentioning historical low.
Not many people do this so you are a rare individual indeed.
One of the best FPS games.
Eh, not the best price ever, the game commonly goes on sale for this price.
This is still such a fun game. I play regularly, plenty of active players.
No campaign, no deal.
bf5 better
sadly this is true but it is getting boring a little.. they should do a refresh with same engine.. just pick some new place or era like vietnam with V mechanics and engine
why is it sadly true? it has the absolute best gameplay in the series. the only downside is the lack of content
Oh it is sadly true because bf5 is fairly old now i was hoping we would have a new better replacement by now because if you played bf5 to death like i have then you will know the maps and current arsenal available gets pretty boring very quick.. i have dreams of some of the maps sometimes that's how much i have played it and have done all the cool tricks and combos imaginable i have basically sucked the life out of that game and am still sucking on it but nothing is coming out just air
That's why i have moved onto and play Overwatch now because when Overwatch was new i knew that it would take some time until it is the near perfectly balanced game it is now.. freshly released Overwatch was a balance nightmare for years just like really bf5 had not much content for years
I had hunches on both these games and they both played out exactly how i saw it kind of like how no man's sky is an awesome game now but the hype for me has fizzled and died a bit
The next major awe inspiring game will be when we break the 100 player limit in fps gaming.. i cannot wait for that just bfv but maybe on a 10x scale
Like planetside 2 but ps2 is a bit meh
The last FUN battlefield game.
1942
V has a good core structure just needs some more content or visuals to work with but as far as modern gaming goes it gets a pass in my book.
I think you mean BF2/2142
DC mod for 1942 was peak BF.
100% this. There was beauty to the simplicity of the game. None of this upgrade kit bull crap, mystery creates.
Bring back the mystery crates.. a dream game would be a battlefield game with mystery events and crates and 800 player server
forgotten hope overtook DC mod. But those were peak BF days for sure.
Don't forget PR for BF2. That's was a close second to DC.
+1
I can still remember that main menu cinematic and loading music like it was yesterday.
Nothing like driving around on the beaches of Normandy with M-1 Abrams tanks and T-72s.Desert Combat literally gave DICE the entire idea of shifting the franchise into a modern warfare-themed FPS.
They bought the small studio of 9 guys who made the original Desert Combat mod and then launched BF2.Without Desert Combat the BF franchise would never have taken the trajectory it did and Call of Duty likely wouldn't have followed suit either.
Was $50… Wowzers
