My Fav diet Sarsaparilla rarely goes on sale
sad panda face
I see you too are a person of culture.
I see you too are a panda of culture*
Pandas are people too.
I’ve found my people. Stay strong friends. One day..
Those are fantastic… open question to OZB.
Has anyone found any alternative diet sarsaparilla as I’ve only found Bundaberg.
long shot - does tarax still make sarsaparilla or are in business anymore?
Nothing except Golden Circle Cordial with soda water 😂
Most of the time, even when going to the pub, some bartenders are like "what's Sarsaparilla?", so depressing staff these days don't even know what it is.
Some of the flavours are just a min. quantity of 1.
One of my favourite ways to get 10 teaspoons of sugar thanks very much Gary/Karen
If these had half the sugar i'd probably buy semi regularly, but this amount is just not necessary.
Yep their sugar content are ridiculous 🙄
Why does everyone complain about the sugar in these when they pretty much have the same amount as any other soft drink?
Sugar hasn't killed someone once
Excessive sugar just create the diabetic that can kills or even create another health problems and on and on then kills slowly
A study suggests that sugar consumption might help to improve English grammer. Give it a go 😷
@sedi: Grammar 😉
@montorola: Lol I need more sugar too.
@sedi: Does it improve spelling as well?
@Porco Rosso: Hahaha. Autocorrect didn't tell me to correct my spelling this time.
@sedi: Lol :D
Excessive sugar does NOT make one a diabetic but obesity resulted from excessive sugar consumption can lead to diabetes.
The person who negged my previous comment is uneducated. The cause of Type 2 diabetes has nothing to do with sugar, but has everything to do with insulin resistance. Inactivity and obesity resulted from a poor diet is the main cause. The people who should avoid sugar to avoid the onset of diabetes are the prediabetics, diabetics or those that are overweight.
*has nothing to do with sugar*
I beg to differ. Insulin resistance is closely linked to carbohydrate intake and sugar is one of the biggest sources.
@johnt107: In a normal and healthy person, you don‘t become insulin resistance just by consuming excessive amount of sugar. It is a myth that a person would gradually get diabetes by daily consumption of excessive sugar. Provided the person is leading an active lifestyle, within a healthy weight range, with no diabetes family history and with normal liver/pancreas function, the chance of them to become diabetic is low.
**active lifestyle, within a healthy weight range, ... with normal liver/pancreas function**
Such a person is unlikely to be eating/drinking excessive amounts of anything including carbs/sugar.
It has killed people, just like thousands of other things in excess have killed people - including water.
What people really need to work out is the fact they have a reward mechanism that feels good, but if you don't turn it off sometimes you start to feel lousy without any of your chosen substance…
Addiction
Haha, joke/interpretation fail. Sugar hasn't killed someone once, but likely millions of times over.
Why does everyone complain about the sugar in these when they pretty much have the same amount as any other soft drink?
Quite curious myself too
Wish the Peach would go on special - haven't tried that one yet. Guava is my favourite so far though.
It was on special at my Coles today, grabbed a 4-pack of the blood orange to try today at Coles. It's rare to see either the Peach, Blood Orange or Apple get discounted on Amazon.
Burgundee is my fave though. Always two cases when that goes on special. But I have yet to find one that I do not like.
$11 at Woolworths this week, might be 10 in those packs though
I really recommend everyone to try the Apple Cider flavour. Its a combination of Granny smith and Royal Gala apple and has a very complex flavour profile. Its also not that sweet which is a change from the other sugary flavours. Definitely beats most of the ciders at Dans.
Coles are selling 4 packs for $4.80, so you're getting the same value at $3.20 per L

Yeah but that requires me leaving the house
$4.50 in Victoria, so works out ~$1 cheaper for 12.
It's back to 18.90 / 17.01 s&s. Shame, had my eye out for this.
Look 2 comments up.
Bring back Diet Lemon, Lime & Bitters >:c
Same price at coles right now
What happened to the Peach flavour it was the best.
Yet my favourite flavour has gone up in price to $19.56…
