Just received an email confirming that this was back on for the 2022 season.

There is a two step process to get your free Whopper:

(1) If a West Coast Eagles player kicks a goal from outside the 50 metre line during a home game, then you open the Hungry Jacks app and opt-in to receive the voucher when prompted.

(2) On the following Wednesday, you get a barcode in the app which you can redeem for a free Whopper (pick up only). If transacting through the Hungry Jack's app, a $1 minimum spend applies, but it should be free to show at the counter.

T&Cs state that it is open to WA residents only - but some people with last year's deal were able to redeem in other states.

  best way to do this if you're not an eagles/afl fan is to go to the eagles website, show all their scheduled home games and put them in your calendar. set up an alert to open up the app when the game has ended so you don't have to watch the whole thing. if there's a free whopper available, you've got until 30 minutes after the game to claim it.

    I've got all notifications and rewards and news ticked,

    "The opportunity to register for the “Whopper Goal” voucher is open for three (3) hours after the Whopper Goal is kicked"

    Damn, they don't give a lot of time

      a pop-up appears asking if you'd like to claim the free whopper when you open the app

      3 hours is pretty good for people who aren't watching the game.

          @marketingpolice: i checked my account before 9am, did not get a free whooper :( then at 9am got an email from HJs about the free whooper and then logged in again and there it was! so for those missing one check it again later!
