Was in the market for charger and found this Victron for a decent price.
It was last at $110 a year and a half ago : https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/561994
Afterpay lads can also look at the 10Amp charger for about $40 more.
The interwebs seem to be divided between CTEK and Victron - but clearly leaning towards a Victron charger being better somehow.

Victron does lithium batteries, ctek doesn't do lithium.?
I'd rather a victron over my current ctek, purely for that reason, plus quality of victronDoes anyone who owns one of these chargers know if it will resume/restart charging if it is unpowered for a period of time? Or does it require some sort of user input?
I have a situation where we have a 240v generator come on once or twice a day during the winter, and would like a decent (smart) charger that will turn on with the generator (when 240V power starts up) and start resume it's charging cycle without having to have any user input. I don't want to have to remember reach under a benchtop to set it going each time the generator is run.The charger never turns off if it has power.
It will auto start whichever charging program it was last on when it is powered on.
it will start with the latest charge profile you use when genny kicks in. there is no separate on off switch rather than unplugging, so it will work if you keep it connected and plugged in.

I have one of there 20 amp mppt bluetooth solar controllers it’s been great …
Noob question. What do you guys use this for?
Charge 12V batteries ie car, boat..
Got a CTEK MXS 7.0 recently and it's brilliant.
i brought the 25 amp version and brought back dead battery back to life in 2 hrs that ctek couldnt do.
the bluetooth app is bonus to see progressMy money is already on the 5 A so, out of curiosity - isn't 5 to 10 Amps the most recommended way to charge car batteries?
What would you regularly be using the 25 A charger for? I do remember from the reviews you can use a lower amp (3A ?) on the higher Amp chargers. For lead acid I think most manufacturers recommend max 0.3C so anything larger than an 80Ah battery is fine at 25A though I believe up until 80% charge you can use at a much higher rate. Your cars alternator is going to be putting in a lot more than 5A too.
Li-ion can charge at much higher rate than lead acid also.
Noco genius 5A on Amazon currently for $100 is another great alternative. It has all the good features too, and I have found it to be a terrific charger. I think I paid about $80 for it.
