      How much horsepower?

      • Hope its mid mount

  • Do you want a zero gravity function?

    • wouldn't mind one if there is one at this sort of price range 4-7k

  • I have an Osim at home which gives a really good DEEP massage but it cost me $8k

I also have cheaper Intouch massage chair at work in the waiting room which only cost $3k. It is still comfortable but doesnt massage as powerful or deep as the osim. However it is used mulitple times a day and is around 2 years old with no malfunctions or problems.

I have this at home. https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-s63-zero-gravity-sl-track…

It works well. Not sure how it compares to the 6-8k massage chairs, but I think it is compares well with the generic no name massage chairs. Wifey uses it almost daily.

    • Does it crack your back?

      • Strange question. Not sure if you are taking the piss but I'll bite. No, it doesnt crack my back.

        • It doesn’t take much for a reasonable chair to do it, generally at the start of it’s program.

          a. nearly flat (“zero gravity”)
          b. feet locked into the airbags
          c. rollers at reasonable excursion
          d. rolls from bottom of back to top

pretty much the same effect as a foam roller but gives you a good stretch too.

          • @DingoBlue: Oh.. is that what you meant? When you said crack my back, I thought it would be like something what chiro does to my back.

My massage chair has multiple programs, and different motions. It can do what you just described and more. The rollers can pulsate or do circular motion, and the width and height of the motion are adjustable as well. Usually I just put the massage chair on a set program.

Kogan has 3 models, S1, S2 and S3. I paid for the S3, because even though it is the top of the line for Kogan, compared to other massage chairs it is still very cheap. I don't know about the other models, but I am pretty happy with the S3 model.

            • @geek001: Thanks man. Tempted to hit that buy button.

@DingoBlue: Just a note, if you are going to buy it, you might want to wait for a special, either % off or cashback or free shipping. The shipping for the chair was quite substantial, I think it was around $80 when I bought it, but I waited for a free shipping code, saved me $80, plus savings from giftcards.

They can be had at a huge discount buying second hand

  • Just wondering any thoughts on the Harvey Norman online range vs kogans?

    Eg.
    https://www.harveynorman.com.au/livemor-3d-zero-gravity-mass…

Aprox. 1200 atm for black, where grey is double that price.

  • Reviews seem to be great re the Harvey Norman Livemor range… Just shipping apparently sucks.

Seems like some decent $1200-3000 range.
