Minecraft Sub for Kids Query

Hi folks

Currently subbing minecraft on Android for one of the kids.

If I sign up to Xbox PC game pass instead and cancel the android sub, would Minecraft be free to play on the android tablet?

What exactly are you subscribed to? For Realms?

    If it's realms, then you'll have to keep paying it.
    
    With realms you are basically paying to have a server hosted by Microsoft.

    I think you can save the world to play offline then cancel Realms. And I think you can load the world on Android and play over LAN while the world is open.
