- This has the same panel as the LG C1 48 inch OLED. It's in monitor form, so pros and cons.
- Drive it with a media player or HTPC for TV like functionality, as it has a Displayport and 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. Also USB C port to plug your Apple Macbook in for video out.
- Doesn't have Dolby Vision like the LG C1 but has HDR10 - works on Netflix with an Amazon stick 4k so pretty similar.

- I bought one a few weeks ago and now I see paid too much but thought it may help someone by posting.
- I definitely recommend it.

 - Yes but the frame has a better form factor, being slim and can double as an art piece

 - I have the 48" C1 and have it mounted to the wall behind my desk and it's an amazing size for work and gaming (especially gaming). I sit about 90-100cm away from the screen and it works great for me. YMMV though, of course

 - everybody laughed at me for recommending TVs indead of uuuuuuwhd monitors that are not even 4k, here we are folks teh new hot shit is here - going to hodl for a $300 version, hoping no hyperinflation - Sorry inflation is already here.. - i will be praying

 - You somehow think an OLED will be $300 in next few years? By then some other tech would have superseded it and OLED will be like what Plasma has come, GL in getting an OLED for $300, even if it is off eBay 2nd hand that is full of IR. - probably not, but eventually a nice 30" model would suit my needs - i'm not paying for a 48 inch just to sit 1m away from it lol - i don't mind buying 2nd hand at all my current monitor is one of the first 27" fhd 144hz tn panels that i got 8 years ago for $200 2nd hand, back then 60hz was still mainstream, its been awesome for me - They're never going to make a 30 inch OLED that will be affordable, specifically for around $300.
A 48 inch at 1 meter away is almost perfect for a 4K panel. I have a 55 inch panel that I can barely read text in 4K on at 1.5 meters away.
This isn't about watching movies, it's about being able to read text on a panel fit for intended use. - @[Deactivated]: its all about panel size and distance from viewing right, theoretically you can move a small monitor up close and it will look the same as a big monitor far away - they will probably retail for 700+, like my tn panel did in 2010, but eventually if they go mainstream they'll come down lol. maybe they don't and we all starting using vr, who knows - i'll pay more depending on inflation but deep inside i like to get a good deal. also i'm in no hurry at all to upgrade, like i rarely even game these days

 - Above is one the worst comments I read. Some hot shit that is
 - was going to wait for 42" oled but couldn't resist this deal. Put $30 on afterpay and rest on shopback gift cards so ended up paying $1,194.8
 - Good deal. Just be aware, this monitor has lower peak brightness and a more aggressive ABL then the LG C1 TV - Good point. I could be wrong but I haven't seen any way to access the service menu on the GB like you can with the LG's - This allows you to tweak a lot of the ABL settings if you're not worried about burn in etc.

 - Does it support 4k 120hz via hdm2.1 on ps5?
heard it does not support 48gbps instead only 24gbps
 - the price is AU $1,448.00 - the code AFPYDY can't be applied - How do I get the titled price? - I don't know if the code is still working or not but you just have to select afterpay as the payment option and then enter the code. - Some people seemed to be having problems in the app yesterday so maybe try the website if you were doing it in the app. - thanks - that's what i did tried both app and website - maybe they have issues right now. would like to know if the code still works for anyone. - Just tried on eBay and it's working just fine for me. - @[Deactivated]: ty.i called the support: they told me my account was registered in the US, so non-appliable. - i do can use the coupon on guest tho

 - Trying to work out whether this'll get cheaper or the C1 will hit $1.5k.
