Disable the fixes with InSpectre? I thought they didn't really affect real world performance that much anyway
Seems reasonable. I'm no expert, I only buy AMD now - but it's one of a few factors I'd be considering when making that decision.

previously it was priced $399 at Shopping Express before 10% store wide off, but they increased the price thereafter. not good enough, $300 my target
My plan initially to wait for just above $300, but already jumped on this, can't wait any longer with new games as I'm sitting on a 7th gen pentium G4560.

Keep in mind that these 12th gen Intel chips, like previous generations, are vulnerable to Spectre-V2 attacks, and the patch to block these attacks reduces performance (I read somewhere by as much as 35%).
