Nope only Long Necks are.
And some of the 500ml cans depending on who you buy from
Generally the smaller liquor sellers stock the imported bottles/cans while the majors stock the local variants
A lot of retailers try to sell the local licenced at the imported Heineken prices too
raises the question is the imported better, not as fresh as it’s been in a container but also heineken aren’t just make in holland …i’ve had it made in the UK and sold in australia …..melbourne was soft water which does effect the brew vs hard water i. some other countries / cities …. but imported doesn’t mean better quality, just different taste due to age and water used …..
@garage sale: Never said it was guaranteed to be better quality but a lot of the 'brewed under licence" beers do not have the same qualities as those imported from overseas and that as you correctly suggested comes down in part to the water quality
I (along with quite a few friends) can pick the locally brewed variants majority of the time, even when craft brewers outsource their products there is usually a difference
If you are drinking it ice cold you may not be able to discern a huge amount of difference but once they warn up it becomes a lot more clearer
There's some of the 'brewed under licence" in Australia beers I can't touch as I get headaches from them yet I can have the same amount of the same beer from one of the import plants and be fine
Need to change title not available in qld tas and I think nt
