    It's "the in thing" at the moment. smooth edges, curves, over simplicity. Look at the designs of probably 95% of phones, earphones, hell, even cars.
    They all look like things you would have found in kmarts kids section in 2001.

    Slowly 'gaming phones' are bringing defined edges, and bold logos back; ditto peripherals.

    Fashion is just cyclical.
