So my V-Moda Bass Freq broke on e after like a month. And I need new earphones. Not looking to spend more than $30 - $40 as i'm only a student. I mainly listen to dubstep/hip hop and some pop. So I guess bass is near the top of my list. Can anyone recommend me some good earphones? I like the look of sennheiser but there's so many to choose from,

Thanks, Would you rather the CX300s or the Ultimate Ears?
senns
are they worth double the price though?
Just be wary of buying CX300's. It's one of the most counterfeited IEM's around, so if you see a price that's significantly lower than $30 and it's from eBay / iOffer / non-retail then avoid.
e.g:
http://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&u…The UE200 from Logitechshop is a "safe" option, as is the M6 Meelec.
heard of these?
Here's a handy comparison chart of a lot of different IEMs: http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15243
Just one person's opinion but he knows his stuff. Most of those listed are out of your price range but there are a few cheap ones.
Just get this for your "Bass" needs, makes Beats sound like a whimpy overpriced try hard for "Bass"

or the newer model

The older XB40 I can personally vouch for "Bass", in fact reviews even mention the "Bass" can be drowning.
Check out Ultimate Ears, I got the 400vi from logitechshop for $50 (free shipping!), but I don't see them carrying that particular 400vi model any more. But they still do have other UE models to choose from.
Sennheiser CX300 or CX300s $30 average
Logitech Ultimate Ears UE200 $15 delivered <= Recommended! Very good value earphones.
Meelectronics M6 $29 USD
