Cashrewards 2FA MFA to SMS Isn't Validating Correctly

I want to cash out $30. I have configured my bank account, and now I try to withdraw, I need to verify a code sent to my phone. I receive the code, and enter it, and it says it's not valid. I have tried 5 times yesterday, and 5 times today. And it shows invalid each time. I enter the code within 60 seconds.

I have opened a support request with CR. Has anybody experienced this?

    Hi Felipe, and thank you for the question.

    I was able to locate your ticket in the system, and you will be receiving a response from our support staff shortly.

    The reason the 2FA is failing upon attempt to withdraw the $30 is because you've not ever made a qualifing transaction via Cashrewards. The only approved amount is for a referral to a friend in 2020. Please reference section 6.1.b.ii of the terms linked below which clearly state that at least one qualifying transaction needs to be made in order to withdraw, excluding any Bonus Rewards.

    Once this condition is fulfilled (and the transaction is approved), you'll then be able to withdraw at will (minimum withdrawal amount is $10.01). Please feel free to PM me should you have further questions.

    • The $30 in my account expires soon and I don't want to lose it. Can you extend the expiration +12 months?

        If you simply click through to any store by clicking the Shop Now button, the expiration is extended by a further 12 months. This is the only requirememt to keep your account active. If your funds do expire at any point, please just email our member services team and they can add them back in : )
