I'm looking at purchasing a commercial property as an investment.
Called CBA and they had no idea who I could talk to about this with them.
Has anyone financed a commercial property before, is there a preferred bank for them etc?

Just use a seasoned mortgage broker. stop wasting your time with banks
We just finalised ours through suncorp because they were the most accomodating. Definitely go through a broker.
Ask your business accountant.
All of the majors have a commercial property division but ringing the retail call centre won't help you. I just googled CBA Commercial and found a link straight away, there's even a Request a Callback button on the web page.
