  • How is this worth 10k…. Accommodation with shared facilities. Still entered 😆

    • +1

As well as "Meals: 2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 1 dinner per person"

For free it seems worthwhile - at the price they quote I really don't see any value.

And when did advising that tipping is almost expected become a thing in Australia?

      "TIPPING
Tipping can be an appropriate way to recognise great service when travelling. While it may not be customary in your home country, it is an entrenched feature of the tourism industry across many of our destinations and is greatly appreciated by the people who take care of you during your travels. It is always best to avoid tipping with coins, very small denomination notes, or dirty and ripped notes, as this can be regarded as an insult rather than the goodwill gesture it is intended to be.

      OPTIONAL TIPPING KITTY
On Day 1 of your trip, your tour leader may discuss with you the idea of operating a group tipping kitty, whereby everybody contributes an equal amount and your tour leader distributes tips for drivers, local guides, hotel staff and other services included on your trip"

  • No idea how this is worth 10k either. Maybe it's the guide? We recently did a road trip from Brisbane to Port Douglas and back over 13 days stopping at places listed plus a lot more, went out to the reef twice and Whitehaven beach and spent well under 10k for 2 adults and 1 kid.

Although that was before the price of fuel was $2.30 a litre.

  • +1

Maybe its priced up in case winners are from Perth.

  • Maybe it also includes tickets to wrestling

  • Thanks mclarge!
