In response to some of the criticism geared towards the game after its April 23rd release on Desura, Insane Zombie Carnage‘s developers, Geex Games, have extended a goodwill gesture to both disgruntled fans and Vlambeer by completely removing all customer charges previously attached to the game. In layman’s terms, that means it’s now available for free.
The game bears an almost uncanny resemblance to Super Crate Box, one of last year’s veritable sleeper hits, and its alleged status as an unoriginal cash-in was quickly championed by the gaming community at large.
Game Description:
Our game is based on Super Crate Box concept : Fight your way through endless hordes of the undead, Kill 'em in using many different weapons. And in different mode Box Collection, Survival, Killing spree
…. But we wish to make it evolve
On top of Killing Spree and Survival Mode, as a start we released
- a soft mode (less difficult and for non hardcore gamers)
- local coop to play with your friend
- Key change menu
This game is also available on Xbox Live Indie Games and Windows Phone 7 (currently not free but may change).
Hmm, average rating 2.5/10.
Edit: Hmm, reading through the comments I'm guessing there are a lot of 0 votes due to being a copy of Super Crate Box. So not actually a measure of the game itself.
