Looking to upgrade our crappy router because we are getting very weak signal in further places in our house.
I get 50% off google nest through work, so can buy the router + one point for $150.
I'm not that savvy when it comes to routers. I note that the nest doesn't have Wifi 6.
Wondering if I'm better off a router like this, if I wait for them to be on special again? Or is the Nest a good enough deal?

Does your house have existing ethernet points or wiring near the spot that you want to place an additional access point? If the answer is no, and you're not willing to put some in, you're better with going with the google nest, as it removes the need for ethernet back haul to your existing router. If you do have ethernet cabling in your house already, that ASUS router from Amazon is a good deal, and you can set it up to be an access point with the same SSID as your existing router, essentially making it the same as if you were to have mesh router + access point, plus it would give faster speeds in that dead spot in your house due to ethernet back haul to the main router.
