Should note they're not directly comparable, since "Vibrant Violet" AFAIK is a time-limited special edition, whereas light blue is part of their regular line-up (though all the materials are more or less the same)

If you're so inclined, Pens by Casey lives in Gisborne, Victoria and hand makes each pen and you can choose the blank from which it starts. He has a lot to choose from, wood, acrylic, all sorts. I've got one and it is amazing quality. They go for about $150 each (depending on the material) but you can pick from whatever he has.

Edit: oh wait the cheaper one has a plastic body and the more expensive one is aluminium. I don't understand why aluminium would be $75 more expensive!
