This deal has been on Officeworks for a while now and I have personally bought over 15 of these around the house.
If you purchase 2 or more plugs. They will be $9 each!
It's Tuya and works with SmartHome. No idea if you can flash them.

Good man….can you open one up (if it's this model) so and let us know what the Wi-Fi board is inside and if a TYWE2S chip. Might be able to flash with Tasmoto if one of those.
It's a TYWE3S
And it's the same Lenovo model that's in the post it appears (SE-341A). The officeworks post says 341AA but the image on officeworks is just 341A
According the Blakadder, it's not compatible, but I didn't try.
Thanks. Am looking for a cheapie to muck about with i.e. Opening and flashing (not OTA). This won't work so.
Add everything to SmartLife app.
Tried that too but it didn't work for me. I think I missed an update from the old firmware to new, so it doesn't connect to the new apps.
There were some people suggesting connecting to the old app to update, but I believe I missed this too as the old app no longer adds devices.
Have you called Lenovo about this? Seems like a very poor system if they retire older plugs and are not able to use or update the firmware. I would not be happy about that at all as it is just a plug.
That's very unusual, and I've never heard of this happening. I don't have any Lenovo plugs but have various other Tuya compatible plugs like Brilliant, Mirabella, Kogan etc and all are in SmartLife. Some i've had in the cupboard for 2 years, and when i first pair them in SmartLife they connect and do a firmware update. So it must be a Lenovo specific thing.
Yeah I had this issue too. Massive pain which probably applies to old stock with the original NON-TUYA firmware installed. Old app would NOT work on my Android tablet, phones, ipads. Had to dig out an old iPhone SE to set up and install the new TUYA firmware. Very poor instructions too - did not even explain that the old app would no longer work and you'd have to switch to the new app/Tuya. Needed to be an engineer or software developer to work this out
can't seem to purchase from any stores, C+C or delivery.
More expensive but a decent deal and no hassles with finding stock (free delivery with Prime):

$24.29 for 2. I bought a few of these and they work fine with the Tuya app.
I use them for non-SMART lighting mainly. Also plan to use one to be able to reboot a Mac Mini if I lose remote access/lock ups whilst away from home (overseas).
Thanks got one..i mean 2 :)
They just removed the discount - we got lucky :-)
I can still see it?
@John Kimble: It was $26.99 less 10% discount yesterday. Now its $32.99 less 10%.
@gadgetguy: Oh, my bad, I thought you were talking about the OP deal.
Nothing in stock near me.
limited store = out of stock, and most officework is oos.
Sad that they don’t have energy monitoring.
I need to find cheap energy monitoring ones, then I’d buy like 100 lol.
Of the smart plugs I've bought over the years, only the TP Link seems to have this feature. It was my first one and about double the size of the 2x lenovo plugs I just picked up.
Blaupunkt, Meross, arlec and quite a few others have energy monitoring. To me they don’t really make sense without monitoring outside of a few specific cases, but even then monitoring would still be useful!
I actually realised this morning that my Meross plugs had the power tab too. But like you said, i've never bothered with them.
I have one already, I want more but with energy monitoring…must not impulse buy…😳
kogan's ones are slimmer
Not out of stock in WA?
Don't you love how the Officeworks website defaults to thinking your local store that's no where near where you actually are, eg I'm near Richmond but for some reason it randomly decided my nearest store is Narre Warren. By the time I fix that up no stock.
The website only knows what your browser tells it. Maybe your browser is only reporting a rough location rather than fine? Just a guess.
Bought the last 2 from officeworks at elizabeth
Would of bought 4 if they had the stock
I've owned a couple Lenovo plugs and they are pretty useless. I missed an update and now all my plugs can't pair on the new Lenovo app or Tuya. So I guess just keep these up to date if you purchase.
