More of a comment for the manufacturers and people that agreed to sell it
…and I have one of those…. plus I also have one of the Brewzkey key shaped opener from Thinkgeek (http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/tools/d132/?srp=13)…. but you don't always have your keys with you, in particular if you have them with your car keys and have decided to not drive… so not saying it's something you'd use a lot, but handy to have. I'd also suggest handing your 'phone over to some drunk to use to open a bottle might lead to a sad place…. ;-)
Personally I see it as a well built iPhone case that just happens to have this extra feature that you may or may not use.
FINALLY A REASON TO START DRINKING AGAIN.
Is this realy need for a bottle of a beer? I thought the beer bottle can easily open by bare hand.
Not ALL beer bottles are twist top ;-)
mmmmm…. monk beer…. http://www.chimay.com/en/bieres-de-chimay.html?IDC=287 ;-)

(shame cause I missed out on them ages ago)I think puting swiss tool card/Multi-Purpose Tool Card in a case is a better idea than a opener, anyone saw this opener case would think I am a drunk.
Probably damage phone over time as well
-Opena case: $40
-iPhone: $800
-Watching a bogan explain to an Apple Store employee how he drowned his phone in a bottle of XXXX: Priceless. For what it's worth, my case arrived today. Very well made…. Solid as, and made to very high tolerances - phone clipped in and definitely not going anywhere….. Bottle opener part slides in/out with a firm click, and design means all the pressure is being distributed over case with no direct contact to phone, so no concern about phone getting damaged due to using the opener. I will note that it IS heavy, so not sure I'd make this my only case…..
I don't think it's really worth paying $20 to open bottles at parties, I'd rather add a bottle opener keyring to my keys
