          Yeah I know what you mean.. I was thinking to do the same but decided to just go with HMM3 instead. Have plenty of other titles to still play.

          I mostly wanted to grab it because of online game play with mates.

      Fair call.

      But considering its the cost of a takeaway coffee I think your still getting value even with some features not being present.

      Certainly not worth it if your paying full price!!

    this was such a bad remaster compared to the HD mod for the original game
    absolutely tragic

    still, it's a discount. not everyone messes around with old games and mods, i get that.

    If you really wanna make H3 an amazing game, get HOTA plugin. It's amazing and gives another dimension to the game :)

    I would also recomend King's Bounty (the legend, princess etc , havent played the latest one yet) for similar gameplay. Goes on sales occasionally and its a solid play as well. Absolutely loved all the KB

    HOMM3 was my intro to the series, and I loved it, but I found myself enjoying HOMM2 the most. 4 and 5 I couldn't stand.

      HOMM2 art style still held up > 25 years later. Warlocks are super OP tho.
      I don't mind H4, I liked the storytelling and the revamped magic and skill progression, the backstory of each hero and how they've progressed since earlier games.
      H3 was mean in that in some campaigns you had to fight the heroes you created in earlier games and you're in for a shock if you didn't know about this and prepared for it.
