    No, they do not accept PayPal for eBay plus memberships anymore. I am guessing for this reason, so they can be dodgy and keep the money. I am in the process of contacting my bank though, see how that goes 🤔

      Yeah. PayPal refunded mine about 2 months ago.

        That makes me feel better, at least some people are getting refunds. From what I read ebay made card the only way to pay for ebay plus as of last month. Looks like you just got in on time. My bank said they cant do anything about it so guess I have a shiny new $49 ebay plus membership lol.

          @drinkin-beer: You should still fill in a disputed txn form. Please note though if you win, eBay may block you :-(

            @singingwolf: what do you mean by disputed txn form? also if they block me then would it just be that account? its a second account I have that I have never used.

              @drinkin-beer: All banks have a form you can download from their site where you can fill in details about the transaction and have it reversed.

              If your second account is linked in any way to the main one, they will block both.

                @singingwolf: oh yeah I get what you mean. I contacted my bank and explained the situation to them and they said that if ebay has refused the refund there's nothing they can do. Do you think I should do it anyway?

  Lol. I clicked the link for a free trial at the end of 2020. Nothing happened other then going back to the home screen. I had no access to it or got any emails. Yet they tried charging me $49 and sent debt notices to me. Even though I did not receive any product or service from them. I did try and sort it but they wouldn't listen, they harassed ,me for 6 months.

    These guys are shady as. I had an issue that I was accidentally paying for amazon prime twice before and amazon refunded me in full for all of the previous payments I had mistakenly made. Definitely going to stick to amazon in future, its a much better experience.

  'Accidentally' you say? So you tried to sign up AGAIN some how accidentally on an account that already had used its free trial!?

  Are you sure it was really a accident?
