What is the cheapest way to get iPhone? Not in the plan just outright ?
What Will The Cheapest Way to Get iPhone 13 Pro Max ?
Comments
Hahaha obviously legal way.. 😅
Buy discount GC from Coles/Woolworths (make sure to buy the $500 version as there is a limit of how many cards you can use per transaction).
Does it have to be brand new?
Prefer to be brand new or refurbished good condition
Ok,
- Sign 3 year contract with Vodafone and pay the phone off in 36 months
- Buy 10% Giftcards from Coles/Woolies, and buy new phones from
JBHifi - Buy 15% giftcards from Coles (black friday sales), and buy new phones from JB.
- Wait till 14 is out, 13 will be on sales.
Cheapest, wait till Nov, buy 15% off giftcards, buy 13 after 14 is released ;-)
Then travel overseas to claim GTS back. And use it for work to make it tax-deductible
Can’t claim the GST back anymore when travelling. They’ll record the serial number and charge you the tax when you bring it back in. From TRS website:
declare the goods and pay the full refund back if the items are brought into Australia. Penalties apply to undeclared goods.
I think it might be cheaper if you buy it in-person in Japan. You don't pay tax, they stamp the receipt into your passport. And you are supposed to pay for it in customs when you fly in, but it's somewhat of a loophole since they don't check it well. And I believe you'll still get local Apple support/warranty.
Not sure how much you save, but it might be the cost of a discounted ticket.
So could be worth it depending on the person. You're stuck with an iPhone with a shutter noise… but yes, cheaper
Steal it?
Or did you mean the cheapest legal way?
